Nagrakata, 02nd April: A house in Sukhani Basti area under the Nagrakata block of Jalpaiguri district was severely damaged after an elephant went on a rampage, late Wednesday night.
According to sources, the wild elephant entered the residential area, destroying a portion of Mukhi Saotal’s residence. The locals stated that the wild animal then returned to the woods.
