Siliguri, 20th July: A blood donation camp was organized on Saturday with the initiative of the Hill Cart Road Byavasayee Samiti and in collaboration with the Siliguri Greater Youth Lions Club. The camp included free blood tests and sugar tests.
The event took place at the office of the Hill Cart Road Byavasayee Samiti, drawing participation from many individuals keen on donating blood. Alongside blood donation, health check-ups were also conducted.
Chairman Bijoy Gupta of the Hill Cart Road Byavasayee Samiti, highlighted the camp is annually organized to address the shortage of blood. Additionally, blood tests and diabetes tests are provided free of cost besides the blood donation drive.
