Naxalbari, 25th June: An incident of mishap surfaced from Naxalbari in which a dumper truck and a passenger vehicle (magic) collided head-on, following which, 6 persons were injured. The incident occurred when the passenger vehicle was heading towards Ashapur tea estate in Naxalbari.
According to reports, on Sunday, the dumper truck encountered a tyre burst resulting in disbalance and the subsequent mishap. Upon hearing the loud crash sound, the locals rushed to the rescue and transported the 6 injured individuals to Naxalbari Hospital. Among the injured, 4 individuals were discharged after first-aid, while the other two severely injured are undergoing treatment. However, the driver of the dumper truck fled from the scene after the accident. At present, Naxalbari police are investigating the entire incident.
