Harihar High School observed golden jubilee in Rajganj

Rajganj, 14th December: On Thursday, the Harihar High School of Rajganj block completed 50 years. To commemorate the golden jubilee celebration, a grand procession was carried out from the school premises. The procession circumambulated various routes and ended at the school.


According to reports, the procession was attended by Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Rajganj BDO Prashant Barman, District Primary School Council (DPSC) Chairman Lakshya Mohan Roy, Block Health Officer Rahul Roy and several other delegates from the area including teachers and students. MLA Khageswar Roy officially inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp. Following this, the statue of Hariharanand Maharaj was unveiled in the school.

Speaking at the occasion, Manojit Paul, the headmaster of the school stated that the golden jubilee of the school is being celebrated on this day. The program commenced with a torch run on Wednesday. The formal programme commenced with a grand procession and lighting of lamps. In addition, various cultural programs are scheduled to be organized in the upcoming two days.
