GRP and RPF jointly inspect trains arriving at NJP Railway Station

Siliguri, 19th March: Ahead of the Bengal assembly election, the administration is cautious of any unforeseen incidents during the polls. Therefore, the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) are jointly conducting a search operation at the New Jalpaiguri railway station.


Reportedly, the GRP and RPF are examining the bags of people travelling on the trains as well as the ones sitting in the passenger waiting room. RPF Inspector, Sandeep Saha said that a special check is being conducted by the GRP and RPF using sniffer dogs. Also, two special teams have been formed which include 6 personnel of GRP and 5 of RPF for the special search.
