Jalpaiguri, 16th May: Amid the massive lockdown imposed in India to curb the spread of Coronavirus, many people have no source of income and are struggling to make ends meet. Among which are the women and their families living in red-light areas across India.
Green Jalpaiguri, a voluntary organization, came forward to help the distressed women. On Saturday, its members distributed ration among 100 families living in the red light area of Jalpaiguri.
