Siliguri, 21st February: International Mother Language Day organizing Committee Siliguri festively celebrated the special day on Sunday.
A grand procession was organized which started from Kanchenjunga Stadium and ended at Baghajatin Park. State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb, other members of the committee and officials of various cultural development boards were present at the event where they paid tribute at the Bhasha Shaheed Bedi.
