Cooch Behar, 01st July: Governor CV Ananda Bose visited the residence of the deceased Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Prashant Roy Basunia, at Simultala in Dinhata, this morning.
It is to be noted, on June 02, the late BJP leader was tragically killed in a shootout at his residence in Simultala. In regard to the misfortune, the BJP had alleged that the miscreants who engaged in this incident were from the Trinamool Congress (TMC). About a month after the incident, the governor reached the house of the late BJP leader and offered his sincere condolences to the grieving family.
