Siliguri, 21st February: Goutam Deb submitted his nomination for the post of mayor and Pratul Chakraborty submitted his nomination for the post of chairman in Siliguri Municipal Corporation, on Monday. Apart from them, the newly elected councilors will take oath at SMC and will be felicitated in Baghajatin Park, on Tuesday.
After submitting his nomination, Goutam Deb said, “I will work unitedly with the chairman, mayor-in-council, and councilors. A ‘Talk to Mayor’ programme will also be held to hear out the problems of people. Besides, the problems of the residents of the borough-based wards will also be heard.”
