Goutam Deb jumps into action to whitewash all walls used in the SMC election campaign

Siliguri, 16th February: After Bengal’s capital Kolkata, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has set a pursuit of adorning Siliguri and has accordingly instructed the to-be Mayor of the city, Goutam Deb to take the initiatives.

Following this, Deb jumped into action on Wednesday and stepped forward to whitewash all the walls that had been painted during the electioneering for the Siliguri Municipal Corporation election. He undertook this programme in Ward No. 33 and painted the walls with white colour. He also instructed the other winning candidates and workers to do the same.

“I started it myself. This time, regardless of party affiliation, everyone should take this programme in the interest of the city and free Siliguri from visual pollution,” Goutam Deb said.
