Siliguri,08th September: Administrator of Siliguri Municipal Corporation inaugurated a newly constructed kitchen and dining room at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hindi High School in Ward No. 33 with the financial support of SMC.
It has been learned that even though the school had mid-day meal facilities, it did not have adequate infrastructure for cooking and dining. The school authorities approached Goutam Deb for help. Following this, the initiative was taken.
Deb inaugurated the new room on Wednesday. He laid a wreath at the portrait of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri during a programme organized by the school.
