Siliguri, 22nd February: A felicitation program was held in Siliguri’s Baghajatin Park today to congratulate Siliguri Municipal Corporation’s new Mayor, Chairman and Councilors.
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Goutam Deb thanked the former Mayor, MLAs and MPs for their contributions and further urged the cooperation and support of the present MLA and MP.
Nandita Ghosh, wife of former Siliguri Mayor Bikash Ghosh and Gauri Shankar Bhattacharya, brother of Ashok Bhattacharya were also present on the occasion. Apart from this, the newly elected mayor, chairman and councilors were felicitated on behalf of various organizations.
