Mungpoo, 15th June: Gorkha Janmukti Yuva Morcha (GJYM) of the Mungpoo-Labda region has been consistently distributing rations among the needy families ever since the nationwide lockdown was imposed to contain the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
Divya Bomzon, President of GJYM Mungpoo-Labda, stated that the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) is also carrying out sanitation drives and distributing mouths masks at the quarantine centers set up for the returnees in different parts of the region.
Likewise, on Monday, food items were distributed among the needy families residing in Riang along the National Highway 10 under the initiative of the GJYM. Rambi Government Hospital, Rambi Police Station premises, petrol pumps and several quarantine centres were also sanitized.
During the camp, GJYM Mungpoo-Labda President Divya Bomzon, Secretary Sharad Thapa and Spokesperson Bivhor Syangden were present.
Riang Yuva Morcha President Sangay Tamang, Rambi Yuva Morcha President Aditya Mukhia, Rongchong Yuva Morcha President Dipesh Subba, Highway GJM Co-ordinator Uttam Rai and the entire Highway Yuva Morcha team applauded the initiative and also extended gratitude towards Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) Chairman Anit Thapa.
