TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee, while addressing the TMC Martyrs’ Day rally on 21st July, called upon party workers from every block, ward, and booth in Bengal to conduct a peaceful gherao of the residences of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders at all levels on Saturday, August 5, from 10 am to 6 pm. However, the leader made it clear that the elderly residents of these houses should be excluded from the gherao.
