Siliguri, 03rd May: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, the Siliguri Gate Bazar traders distributed ration among the needy.
Following the government guidelines of social distance, hundreds of people lined up on Sunday morning to collect free ration. However, this time, the organization implemented a buffet system to distribute food items.
Apart from this, disinfectants and sanitizers were also sprayed at the market premises. Raju Chowdhury, a trader, stated that more such initiatives will be taken in the future.
