Kharibari, 16th November: Akash Lama, a resident of Bagdogra and a social activist, distributed clothes among 40 needy families at booth number 124 of Phansidewa.
BJP Mandal president Anil Ghosh, general secretary Rajendra Nath Roy, vice president of Yuva Morcha Jhantu Das, general secretary Bikash Sarkar, and other activists were present during the programme.
Akash Lama said that such an initiative has been taken to help the financially deprived families.
