Siliguri, 19th September: Free vaccination was arranged for beggars, van drivers, and domestic workers, on Sunday.
The initiative was taken on behalf of the Siliguri PHE Contractors Welfare Association at Deshbandhu Sporting Club. 125 people were vaccinated free of cost today. Workers were also vaccinated at Siliguri Kanchenjunga Stadium.
Anup Basu, an official of the organization, said that beggars, van drivers, and poor people in many places have not been vaccinated yet. Hence, a free vaccination camp was organized for them.
