Siliguri, 22nd November: Pradhan Nagar police in plainclothes arrested four miscreants in Siliguri before they could carry out a major crime. The arrested individuals have been identified as Prakash Darji, Prakash Mahato, Manu Kamati, and Biplab Roy. The four hail from Siliguri and Sikkim.
According to police sources, late on Friday night the four had gathered in Himachal Colony under Pradhan Nagar police jurisdiction with the intention of committing a serious offense. Before they could execute their plan, police intervened and apprehended them. Several weapons were also recovered from their possession.
The four accused have been produced in Siliguri Court on Saturday for further legal proceedings.
