Siliguri, 16th July: In a shocking incident that unfolded on Friday night, the dead body of a man was found under mysterious circumstances in his residence located in the Bhujiapani area of Bagdogra. The deceased has been identified as Anup Ghosh. Following the startling event, the cops of Bagdogra police station have arrested Anup’s wife, and son, along with his mother-in-law and father-in-law on charges of murder. The arrested have been identified as Baby Ghosh (Wife), Arpan Ghosh (Son), Bina Ghosh (mother-in-law), and Gopal Ghosh (father-in-law).
Earlier, after the discovery of the dead body, the deceased’s family members had filed a complaint at the Bagdogra Police Station accusing Anup’s wife, son, father-in-law, and mother-in-law. On the basis of the complaint, the accused were arrested by the police. Today all four accused have been produced before the Siliguri Court.
In this regard, Anup’s family alleged that his wife had an illicit affair with another man. Subsequently, after Anup discovered the affair, there were frequent quarrels with his wife. Despite efforts for reconciliation, Anup’s wife Baby continued with the affair. Additionally, the family alleged that after killing Anup, the accused hanged his body from the noose to display the murder as a suicide.
