Siliguri, 10th July: The undercover police of NJP police station has arrested four miscreants before they could commit the crime. The accused have been identified as Abdul Razzaq, MD Ahidul Ali, Mohammad Ghafoor and Bappa Das. All are residents of Fulbari area and were arrested from the Fulbari barrage.
According to police sources, a team of 10-12 dacoits had gathered in the said area. After spotting the police, many were successful in fleeing away however, the police caught four of them. Several sharp weapons including rods, scissors were recovered from the accused. The arrested were produced in Jalpaiguri court today.
