Kharibari, 02nd February: SSB’s 41st Battalion jawans arrested four Bangladeshi nationals and two Indians for allegedly helping them enter India illegally. The accused have been identified as Mohammad Shohag Miya, Kamrul Hussain, Mohammad Manir Hussain and Sofiul Alam. On the other hand, the arrested Indians have been identified as Mohammad Hussain of Jalpaiguri and Mohammad Sipan Sarkar of Coochbehar.
Reportedly, the Bangladeshi nationals showed fake Aadhaar cards to enter India from Nepal at the Indo-Nepal border Panitanki. When the SSB jawans grew suspicious, they interrogated the gang. The whole matter came to light during questioning. The accused were handed over to Kharibari police and were produced in the Siliguri divisional court today.
