Naxalbari, 09th November: Nine health centers will be set up in three blocks under Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad. Today, Arun Ghosh, Chairman of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad, laid the foundation stone of 4 new health centers under the Naxalbari block.
The foundation stone of the health center was laid in the Naxalbari Kamala Jote area at a budget of Rs.27 lakh. Chairman Arun Ghosh said that the said health center will help in reducing the pressure on the hospital and at the same time provide medical assistance to the common people nearby. A total of 20 health centers have been started.
