Siliguri, 28th March: In view of the nation-wide lockdown, various government and private NGOs voluntary organizations took initiatives to assist the needy.
Since morning, members of various organizations handed over food items to the poor families in NJP and its surrounding areas. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the Government Railway Police (GRP) officials distributed food among the needy.
