Siliguri, 07th February: A floral exhibition is set to commence at the Siliguri Kanchenjunga Stadium from February 13 under the aegis of the Siliguri Horticulture Society.
In this regard, a rally was held from the Kanchenjunga Stadium grounds. The members of the Horticulture Society, as well as the school students, participated in the rally.
On behalf of the society, Ward No.12 Councillor Nantu Pal stated that there will be around 50 stalls at the fair. Such an initiative has been taken to spread the notion of greenery and encourage the common people to plant more trees.
State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb, North Bengal Development Minister Rabindranath Ghosh, Banga Ratna winner Bharati Ghosh, and many other dignitaries will be present at the inaugural event. Various cultural events have also been organized.
