Alipurduar, 03rd November: Five people were injured in a road accident in the Hamiltonganj area under the Kalchini block of Alipurduar district. Out of the injured, two women were seriously injured.
Reportedly an auto heading from Hasimara to Kalchini suddenly overturned in the Hamiltonganj area this afternoon. Due to this five passengers were injured. Locals rescued them and took them to Latabari Rural Hospital.
However, due to the critical condition of Saraswati Pradhan, a resident of Kalchini, and Mithali Debnath, a resident of Hamiltonganj, they were referred to Alipurduar District Hospital.
