Jalpaiguri, 13th March: Jalpaiguri Kotwali police recovered a pipe gun with four rounds of ammunition, on Sunday morning.
A pipe gun and a cartridge were found in a graveyard on the side of the national highway in the Dasdarga area of Sadar block. The police assumed that the guns and cartridges were stored for anti-social activities.
In this regard, IC Arghya Sarkar of Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police Station said that a desi pipe gun with four rounds of ammunition was confiscated. Investigation into the incident has been started.
