Fulbari, 14th April: In a horrifying incident, a sudden fire broke out in a moving dumper truck on the Fulbari-Ghoshpukur Bypass Road, under the jurisdiction of the Phansidewa police station, creating a stir in the area. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties resulting from the incident.
Local sources revealed that on Sunday, the truck was heading towards Phansidewa from Fulbari. During this, massive fire originated, prompting the driver and his assistant to quickly evacuate.
Upon receiving the news, the cops of Phansidewa police station and a fire engine from Siliguri rushed to the scene and brought the situation under control. Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire likely originated from a short circuit within the dumper truck. Currently, the Phansidewa police are engaged in further investigation.
