Siliguri, 06th April: A horrifying fire mishap occurred in the Ward No. 18 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) due to a short circuit in the electrical pole installed in the area.
According to reports, a similar incident had occurred earlier due to a short circuit in the same electrical pole. However, this time the fire took a raging form.
Meanwhile, the locals swiftly engaged in firefighting efforts and managed to bring the fire under control. Subsequently, a fire engine and the Siliguri police arrived at the scene.
