Siliguri, 01st January: Sensation prevailed after a fire broke out at a multi-story apartment in Hakimpara.
Reportedly, residents of the apartment had arranged a picnic on the terrace of the building on the occasion of New Year. However, the gas cylinder blasted suddenly.
The incident was immediately reported to the fire brigade. Two fire engines reached the spot shortly after and extinguished the fire.
