Siliguri, 16th October: Amit Agarwal, a resident of Milanpally, Siliguri, got deceived while fixing a refrigerator at his house.
It has been learned that Amit Agarwal’s refrigerator went wrong a few days ago. Following which, he contacted the customer care representatives through a fake company website on the internet. A representative arrived at his house to repair the fridge. However, after paying the charges, he found that the fridge was not yet fixed. He then contacted the manufacturer and found out that he had been cheated.
Agarwal then handed over the youth to Siliguri police station on Saturday.
