Siliguri, 02nd July: With an increase in fake accounts and online scams, a police officer of the Siliguri Metropolitan Police has once again become a victim of cyber fraud.
Reportedly, some fraudsters created a fake social media account of police officer Kamal Krishna Saha. They are reaching out to people and are asking for money through this account.
After learning about the matter from his acquaintances, the police officer lodged a complaint at the Cyber Crime Police Station.
Earlier too, four police personnel, including the Siliguri Police Commissioner DP Singh, were victims of fraudulent social media accounts.
