Siliguri, 18th January: An electric pole is lying in a dangerous condition in the Bagrakote area of Ward No. 18 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The local traders fear that the condition of the electric pole could lead to accidents at any moment.
Meanwhile, Ward Co-ordinator Nikhil Sahani said that the Railway Department did not take any step so far even after being approached several times in this regard. If the issue is not resolved within a few days, he warned to stage a protest along with the local traders and residents, next Thursday.
