Rajganj, 29th October: Sensation prevailed after the body of an elderly woman was found hanging from a noose in Rajganj, on Friday morning. The incident surfaced from the Koimari village of Sukhani gram panchayat in Rajganj block. The deceased has been identified as Panteshwari Paul (85).
Reportedly, the family members sighted the woman’s lifeless body this morning. It has been learned that she had been suffering from respiratory problems for the past 10 years. The family members primarily assumed that she committed suicide out of mental depression.
After receiving the information, the Rajganj police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to Jalpaiguri district hospital for autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
