Alipurduar, 17th November: Sensation prevailed this morning in the area of Baro Chowki of Alipurduar district after an elderly man was injured in a wild elephant attack.
The injured identified as Sukhdev Roy (88), was found by the locals this morning lying on the ground in a critical state. After this, the locals and family members rescued him and rushed him to Shamuktala hospital where later he was referred to the Alipurduar Hospital.
