Rajganj, 21st January: An e-rickshaw fell into a sub-canal after the driver lost control of the vehicle in the Ambari’s Gokulvita area under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block on Wednesday.
According to local sources, the e-rickshaw was heading towards Haricharanvita at the time of the incident. There were no passengers in the vehicle. Upon reaching the Gokulvita area, the driver suddenly lost control, causing the e-rickshaw to plunge straight into the sub-canal.
Anticipating the danger, the driver jumped out of the vehicle in time and narrowly escaped a serious accident. No injuries or casualties were reported.
On receiving information, local residents rushed to the spot and initiated rescue operations. With their help, the e-rickshaw was later recovered from the sub-canal.
