Islampur, 11th May: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) members submitted an 8-point memorandum to the Islampur SDO in support of various demands.
Through the memorandum, the DYFI members urged the government to initiate the process of bringing the stranded laborers back to the state and launch a district-based effective helpdesk in this regard. Besides, several more issues were reportedly presented through the memorandum.
