Alipurduar, 01st March: A horrifying mishap took place where a stone-laden dumper truck lost control and rammed into a house. The incident surfaced from the Radhanagar area under the Kumargram block of the Alipurduar district. No casualties have been reported as a result of the incident.
According to reports, the vehicle bearing the registration number of Assam was headed towards Barobisha with stones. During this, the truck accidentally lost control and rammed into the house of Saurabh Barman in the Kulkuli Bridge area of the Radhanagar More. The incident resulted in significant damage to the house. Fortunately, no one was present in the residence at the moment.
Meanwhile, the officials of Barobisha Outpost received the information regarding the incident and immediately rushed to the scene. At present, the dumper truck has been taken into custody while the incident is under further investigation.
