Siliguri, 06th February: Before SMC polls on February 12, all candidates of various political parties are busy campaigning in the city.
Likewise, BJP National Vice President Dilip Ghosh campaigned on behalf of party candidates Nityananda Paul, Arundhati Jha, and Dilip Roy in wards 38, 39, and 40 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. He held a rally and toured different areas of the ward. He heard out the problems of the residents and also assured to solve them once the party comes to power.
Matigara-Naxalbari MLA Anandamoy Barman, Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Shikha Chatterjee, and others were present at the campaign.
Dilip Ghosh said, “We are fighting to win the elections. The response from the common people is very good.”
