Dhupguri, 11th March: Sensation prevailed after the body of a youth was found hanging from a noose at the Netajipara Shaoratala area under Ward No. 14 of Dhupguri Municipality. The deceased has been identified as Manik Roy (26).
As per the report, the deceased’s family members sighted his body hanging from a noose, this morning and immediately informed the Dhupguri police, who reached the spot and sent the body for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, Manik’s family members stated that he was mentally disturbed for the past few days. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
