Siliguri, 01st January: On the first day of the New Year, people gathered in large crowds in several temples across the city since morning. Devotees religiously begin the day by visiting the temples and offering prayers.
As per reports, a significant number of people were spotted waiting in queue for worship in Siliguri’s Kalibari and other religious destinations. People visited the various temples praying and wishing for a bright year ahead.
