Phansidewa, 07th October: A devastating fire broke out at a private tea factory in Muraliganj, Bidhannagar, Phansidewa, causing significant damage and sparking panic in the area.
Reportedly, the fire erupted on Monday afternoon, and the police and fire brigade were immediately alerted. Two fire engines from Matigara and Islampur, along with police from the Bidhannagar Investigation Center, rushed to the scene. After several hours of intense effort, the fire was finally brought under control.
Several items, including the factory’s chimney, were destroyed in the blaze. The factory manager reported losses worth lakhs but stated that the cause of the fire remains unknown.
