Dengue raises concern in Siliguri ahead of Durga Puja: Siliguri’s Mayor took stock of Ward No. 05

Siliguri, 12th September: The outbreak of dengue in Siliguri has been raising concern ahead of the puja. In such a situation, the people in the city are seen as worried about the spread of the disease.


In this regard, Mayor Goutam Deb started taking stock of various wards of the city. Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor has been visiting the wards with councilors and officials. Mayor arrived this morning to take stock of Santoshi Nagar and Ganga Nagar of Ward No. 05.

During this, the Mayor interacted with the residents and inspected the area. In many places, residents complained to the mayor about the improper drainage system and waste disposal. The mayor said that dengue cases are increasing in some wards and many people have been infected with dengue in Ward No. 05 area. He assured the residents to work and solve all the problems in the area.
