Rajganj, 28th August: BJP workers celebrated Rakhi Purnima in Rajganj on Friday by tying rakhis to pedestrians, local shopkeepers and customers, conveying a message of harmony and brotherhood.
BJP workers organised the programme at Ambari’s Battala in the Rajganj block, where they tied rakhis to passers-by, local traders and customers and offered them sweets.
The BJP workers also visited Bhorer Alo Police Station and tied rakhis to police personnel. Male and female workers from different BJP organisations took part in the Raksha Bandhan programme.
The initiative was aimed at strengthening the bonds of harmony and brotherhood among people, with BJP workers tying rakhis to members of the local community and sharing sweets with them.
The programme organised on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima also witnessed enthusiasm among local residents.
