Bagdogra, 21st January: Sensation ensued in the area after a decomposed body of an unidentified person was recovered from the drain of the Hanskhoya tea factory near Bagdogra.
Reportedly, the tea garden workers found the body of the said unidentified person in the drain near Hanskhoya tea garden. After which they informed the Bagdogra police of the said incident. As soon as the news was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it for postmortem to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
Locals said that the identity of the body was not ascertained due to the decay of the body. However, the police have speculated that the person died about 15 to 20 days ago. Meanwhile, the Bagdogra police are probing the entire incident.
