Dead body of a youth who went for a morning walk recovered from the roadside in Naxalbari

Naxalbari, 01st December: Sensation prevailed in the area after a dead body of a young man who had headed out for a morning walk was recovered from the roadside. The deceased has been identified as Jamuna Mahto, a resident of Chanapatti in Hathighisa. 


Reportedly, on Thursday morning the youth had left the house for a morning walk. After some time his dead body was recovered from Atal adjacent to the National Highway of Naxalbari. As per the information, the police of Naxalbari police station reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. 

However, the relatives of the deceased suspect that he died due to an elephant attack. At present, the police of Naxalbari police station have started the investigation of the incident.
