Darjeeling Zoo welcomes two red panda cubs

Siliguri, 08th July: Red panda Shobha gave birth to two cubs at the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park in Darjeeling.


The Director of the zoo, Dharmdeo Rai, said that the red panda cubs were born at Topkeydara conservation breeding centre under Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. Both mother and cubs are doing fine. This takes the total number of Redpanda to 25. He further said that the foresters are happy with the arrival of the two new guests.
