Darjeeling, 22nd July: Dharmdeo Rai, the Director of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, announced the birth of one young red panda cub of mother Yeshi and father Pabu. Both mother and cubs are doing well.
Reportedly, the birth took place at Topkeydara conservation breeding centre under Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, making it the fifth birth of the red panda in this season. Darjeeling zoo is the coordinator zoo for entire country for the breeding of red pandas. The new addition is a big success and a matter of pride for all.
