Darjeeling, 28th March: During nation-wide lockdown imposed to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Darjeeling Police distributed masks and bottles of water among the needy, on Saturday. The Darjeeling Police Station IC stated that they will also be distributing food among poor people if the situation demands so.
The West Bengal Police has been working as the frontline heroes of the coronavirus war and appealing to the people to stay indoors, wear safety gear and stay safe.
