Darjeeling, 09th September: Employees working in the Darjeeling Municipality have commenced a pen down strike in the Municipality starting today. The workers have been demonstrating in support of various demands for the past few days under the banner of Darjeeling Municipal Employees’ Union.
Pranay Sharma, on behalf of the body, stated that the pen down campaign will continue till September 14. If their demands are not met during that period, a 24-hour fast will be initiated from September 24 to September 28.
