Kurseong, 14th June: Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Darjeeling MLA Neeraj Zimba has been consistently distributing food and providing financial assistance to the people living in the remote villages and settlements under the Darjeeling Gorkhaland Territorial Administration.
Likewise, on Sunday, a relief camp was conducted under the leadership of the MLA at the Jholu Forest Village in Sitong Gram Panchayat-3 under Kurseong sub-division.
During this camp, essential items including sweets for children, sanitary napkins for women and financial assistance to the elderly were provided.
MLA Zimba also inspected the area’s Buddhist monastery and Primary School building which are lying in a dilapidated condition.
